An important component of The Jerusalem Experiment are still images from the Holy Land–vivid and candid expressions of life in and the history of Scripture’s context. My hope is that these photographs will work draw congregation members into the dust, sun, stone and story of the Bible.
Yesterday, a friend and I embarked on a fifty mile bike tour/photography outing. After recently purchasing a Nikon D40x, I want to do all I can to ensure that when I am in Israel I am able to capture its unique “sense of place”.
Check out my flickr page to view a few more of my first attempts at exploring the art of photography.

i don’t say this to just anyone, but friend you truly do have an eye for capturing intriguing photos. when you came back from your trip to italy and showed me your photos, it was then that i first realized you’re a natural. i will pray that god uses this form of art to enhance your trip in radical ways. let me know when your ready for another 50-miler and we’ll do it again; it was a blast. well done friend.
